Part Heaven, Part Space Series
In June 2003, I began to write a series of entries dedicated to each of the friends who have made an impact on my life. The title of the series comes from the song "I'm Going to Go Back There Some Day," and the lyrics read: "Part Heaven, Part Space, or Have I Found My Place?" I chose this title because I felt that each of these people helped me to find my place.
The Flashback Series
As you all know, I love knowing what happened on this day in the past. Some days, there is just too good of a memory or too great of a milestone to pass up, so I write about it in flashback form. This section will undoubtedly be added to as time goes on.
Prom Weekend Series:
These entries are a recap of the last day of school, Prom, and Prom weekend. Though there were some negative moments, it was one of the best weekends I've ever had in my life.
The Surgery Series
I have a condition called osteochondritis dissecans of the knee, which means that I have a slight crack in my knee bone. In late September of 2002, I broke off a piece of my knee while playing football. In early October, I had to have surgery to repair the injury. It's still very strange for me to read these entries, but here they are for a look at what I went through that week.
